For smaller buildings, where the probability of huge fire is less, equipment with less capacity can be bought and with others, large capacity fire extinguishers can be taken into consideration. With huge population in the country, there are innumerable fire extinguisher manufacturers in India. A huge market lets them manufacture these equipment in large quantities.

When it comes to carbon dioxide type fire extinguishers, they are generally perfect to manage fire in electrical circuits. They can also be used in case of fire in flammable liquids. On the other hand, when it comes to fighting fire on dry material and volatile liquids, mechanical form type fire extinguisher must be used. Different types of these equipment fight fire from different sources. It makes them specialized in one field, but that doesn’t make them restricted to those particular sources of fire only. Every fire protection equipment can be used for every kind of fire in cases of emergency; hence if there’s fire, any such equipment you get hold of is good enough.
