How fire protection and prevention are different from each other?

Many times, being confused with some similar words. We think that both the words are with same meaning just because their pronunciation is very similar and they sound like the same. But it is not always right, as many times the meanings of those words are completely different. We can take the example of protection and prevention to explain this statement better. If we related these two words with fire then it will be easier to make you understand. See the explanation given below for both words:
  • Fire protection: For fire protection advanced safety featured products are being used to protect our precious items, buildings and more in case of fire. These products are known for quick and efficient action. Fire detection system manufacturers have also added fire detection equipment in this category. Fire detection system identifies the fire possibilities and indicates with a louder alarm. Then it turns to our fire protection system that starts working very efficiently to save the area from fire. Some fire protection equipment performs automatically just like automatic sprinklers and some work manually such as fire extinguisher
  • Fire prevention: Fire prevention is some steps that rise to decrease the possibilities of fire. Pre-planning for fire safety is called fire prevention. Planting the firefighting equipment for future safety is a big step that every person should take for his premises.
After planting this equipment, a mock drill or time to time trial to check the proper function of the system is also very important. This trial assures you that your premises are in safe hands.

Fire prevention and protection work together because fire protection is impossible without fire prevention. At a time, we cannot arrange a solution to save our costly items from fire. So always go with both of these words and remove the misconception from your mind that these both words are the same by meaning.
