We can make a checklist to avoid mistakes to reduce the chances of any type of fire loss. Below are some points you can include in your checklist.

Whenever you leave your workplace make sure to check the following points in your checklist:
  • Main power is off or not
  • Your fire fighting equipment is working properly or not.
  • The security agents or rest staffs are trained on the fire fighting emergency or not.
  • Is there any machine or equipment left on then switch it off.
  • Nothing is interrupting ventilation
  • No oil, gas, or fuel leakage found in the machines, generators and other electronically driven equipment.
  • Member in the building is aware of emergency contact numbers.
  • Staff or other members of the building know the emergency exit area and emergency gathering zone.
  • No short circuit is noticed in the wires and plugs.
  • Employees are given instructions to not to smoke inside the premises.
These were pre-fire checklist points but if the fire has encountered then make sure the premises is completely empty, no one has left inside. Make sure only trained staff is participating in fire fighting action. Try to contact the fire fighting services such as standardfiresolution.com at the prior note, and also contact with an ambulance to save the lives from risk. Use high-quality fire fighting solution and keep testing them and your employee’s efforts through the mock drill. Try to understand the reason, area and type of fire before starting fire fighting action. Water spray can raise the risk if the fire is due to a short circuit or any electrical fault.  Be very alert and act with sense, also use the above-mentioned checklist to stay safer from fire condition.
